Did You Know...

Did you know that you should check the oven before turning it on to make dinner, and did you know that plastic cupcakes were not made to actually be baked?
One evening I turned on the oven as I was making dinner. I started doing some other things until I started to smell burning plastic. Instantly, a conversation I had with Emily earlier, where she asked me if they could bake cupcakes, came to mind. I rushed to the oven, but it was too late.
Our write-on cupcakes...After they had been cooked for pretend and for real!
The cupcake holders took the brunt of it.
They were melted into the bars of the oven rack and eventually had to be hammered apart and pried away from the bars. It was not a pretty sight!
Lesson learned...at least until the next time this happens!!
