Disneyland--Day 3

After the character breakfast, we decided to divide and conquer for part of the day. The boys decided to go hit some of the bigger rides like the Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, and I have no idea what else they actually rode, although I think they also did the Jedi training! The girls (and the camera) went to see the Princesses! Nothing like waiting in line for over an hour to see some Princesses behind a wall, but you have no idea who is there or how many of them were going to be there. However, it was what Emily really wanted to do, so it was worth the wait, no matter how long it was!
A picture outside the castle walls while we waited.
Eventually we made it inside and the first princess we saw was...
Ariel
I wasn't sure how Addy would react, but Ariel was very sweet and talked to her until Addy went up to her with her autograph book.
And then held her hand while we took a picture.
Next up was...
Cinderella
Emily was in heaven as we went from one to the other. It was well worth the wait because the princesses took time with each girl. They talked to both Emily and Addy, asking them their names and such. They would pose for as many pictures as you wanted.
And finally, Princess Minnie.
It apparently didn't matter that we had already seen her like 3 times. She was dressed in Princess clothes this time, so that made it even more fun!
The girls and Minnie
Emily also really loved Sleeping Beauty's castle. We went through it several times. Each time stopping to read the story along the way. It never got old for Emily!
This is a statue outside of the castle.
Cole was happy there was a manly knight for him to pose by!
Eventually we met back up with the others to ride the Nemo ride.
For some reason, this was Addy's favorite ride. So she begged us to ride it again. Since Addy didn't have many requests, we honored this one!
Aunt Katie was the only one with the stomach to do the teacups, so anytime we passed them, the kids begged her to take them on it.
Or sometimes, Katie begged them to go on it just so she could prove she was better than the rest of us!
At one point, we were walking by the Tangled Tower, when they were lining up to see Rapunzel. Emily couldn't resist seeing another princess, but unfortunately, Rapunzel was leaving. So, being the good Mom that I am, I went back 2 other times to try and get in line before finally succeeding. Unfortunately, that led to another 45 minute wait. But, once again. Emily's face was priceless! So it was well worth every minute of it!
Much to Emily's delight, Flynn Rider was also there. She offered them a flower she had picked, which he promptly put back in Emily's hair. She was thrilled!
Addy was not nearly as thrilled with being there. I'm not sure if it was the hair all over the room (Can you see the long hair flowing through the background and over Emily?) or if it was Flynn Rider that she didn't like! So, I got to be in the picture also!
Towards the end of the day, we finally worked our way up to Toontown. There was lots of fun stuff to do and look at there. So much that we only got to part of it before we called it a day. Thankfully we had one more day to finish it up.
Toontown has silly stuff to take pictures in.
Fun rides to ride!
Grandpa, we might need your services!
Not Cole though, he will just bend the bars to get out!
We even tried to pull the Acme weights out of the ground.
Maybe Emily can...Nope!Unfortunately, Cole used all of his strength helping the Incredibles! So apparently the weights will stay there for another day!
We spotted Pluto to end our day.
Apparently he has to sign on his nose so he can see what he's doing!
Pluto even gave Weston the stare down, but Weston was not afraid!!
Addy however was. Hence the reason that I got to be in this picture also!
So much to do and only one day remaining! Better get some sleep so we are well rested!
