We even got to have the famous Mickey Mouse waffles! They were pretty tasty.
Pretty soon the characters started coming. Slowly at first, and then almost faster then we could take pictures and get signatures! We decided we must have been at the end of the rotation when we first got there. One of the first ones we got to see was Eeyore. Blake got very excited when he saw the characters coming, but when they got to him, he was a significantly more unsure of them. Especially when Eeyore started patting his head!
Cole and Emily didn't mind though!
Eeyore was not one of Addy's favorites! She would only be in the picture if she could be as far away as possible!
After Eeyore left, we had a few minutes to eat until Captain Hook showed up. Weston seemed to like him, Blake was still trying to decide!
He was scary, but they still wanted him to sign their books. In fact, by the time Captain Hook left, the kids thought he was quite nice!
I looked out the window and what did I see...not popcorn, but Pinocchio!
Eventually Pinocchio came inside to visit us.
He also brought along some of his friends, including Geppetto.
Apparently he looked friendly enough that Addy was willing to take her own book to have him sign!
Emily might have known who he was because he was in the 300 page book she read!
I don't know if he's considered a friend, but the Fox came too. Anyone know his name? We didn't at first, but thanks to internet access on cell phones, we finally deciphered his signature.
While he pretended to be nice and just misunderstood, he was still a little mischievous. After signing Cole's book, he dropped the pen so Cole had to pick it up!
Emily was disappointed that we didn't get to see any of the princesses at breakfast, but Cinderella's Fairy Godmother did come. So that made it a little better. She was actually one of the nicest because she could talk. She asked the kids their names and interacted with them quite a bit.
One of the most favorite characters that we got to see was Tigger! He was very playful. He played peek-a-boo with Blake.
He pretended to sign Weston's head instead of his book.
He signed Cole's book on top of his head.
He tried to do the same with Emily, but I don't think he wanted to mess her cute hair up!
And then, he put Cole in a headlock before he bounced off!
Later, the kids (and Aunt Katie) went out into the middle and bounced with Tigger, since that's what Tiggers do best. But, I think I was getting food and missed that photo op!Since it was Breakfast with Minnie and Friends, our morning wouldn't have been complete without seeing Minnie.
Addy had to show Minnie that she was on her t-shirt.
Then, she had Minnie sign her book...again.
Cole got a hug from Minnie.
But apparently this is who Chad had been waiting for, and he went one step further than a hug! Should I be jealous?
If Uncle Chad gave Minnie a smooch, Weston was going to also!
Apparently Blake was not going to be left out of the kissing department either!
As we were getting ready to leave, Cole caught a glimpse of Chip, of Chip and Dale fame. He told us Chip and Dale were some of his favorites, so we just had to wait to see him. (Unfortunately Dale disappeared, maybe he had to go eat or something.)
Since Cole liked him, so did everyone else, even though they had no idea who he was!
A final photo op before we headed out for our day!
