A few weeks ago, we went on an airplane to visit my Grandma and Grandpa. I wasn't too fond of the airplane ride because I couldn't roam. I had to spend the whole time sitting on my Mom's lap. I guess it was worth it though to get to spend time in KC.
We went a few days earlier than every one else so we could have some Grandma and Grandpa time all by ourselves. We got lots of it!
While we were there, we got to play with all of their toys and games. I don't think my Mom got a picture of it, but Grandma has old puzzles that my Mom used to do when she was a kid. I bet she had like 50 puzzles and I think Emily did every single one of them more than once. It was a little ridiculous!
This is me, playing a game with Grandpa. (The game was mostly I do something cute and then wait for Grandpa to admire me!)
Emily got to help Grandma in the garden. (I'm still trying to figure out how come my Mom's garden doesn't look like this! Hers is mostly just dirt.)
Cole got to chase the rabbit that eats Grandma's garden.
He also got to catch these things called fireflys. I never did figure out what he was talking about, something about glowing tails on a fly. (I have yet to figure out his obsession with bugs and critters. He's always trying to catch something.)
Cole and Emily climbed trees. (They actually had me climb the tree too, but the picture wasn't my best, so I chose this one instead!)
We went to play at a park. My Mom said she didn't know they put merry-go-rounds and teeter totters at parks anymore, but this park had them.
They even let me ride on some of the toys, although Emily always thinks she needs to show me how! I never get to do it by myself!
Grandpa and I mostly just watched all the fun though. Have I mentioned how much I really like my Grandpas?
One day, we even went to hang out at Aunt Shari's house. ( I have to keep in good graces with her. She buys me lots of cute clothes!)
We also had to go visit them because cousin Ally is like Emily's hero. She always puts makeup on and dresses Emily up. Emily thinks she is sooooooooooo cool.
After a few days by ourselves, the rest of the crew started showing up. And, oh my, what a crew it was!
