More Secret Confessions of Addison Lacy

Have I mentioned how hard it is to get a turn on the computer around here. It was hard enough with my mom and Cole always on here, but now that Emily thinks that she needs to constantly play her computer games too, it's getting down right ridiculous! Ok, my mom can't type very well right now since she dislocated her pinky playing basketball last night (she forgets she's over 30 now and should give it up), so I thought I would help her out by doing another entry on her blog. And boy do I have a good one!
I have a complaint that I would like to register to anyone who will sympathize. Mom (and Dad) started feeding me some new stuff a few weeks ago, with a spoon, and it is gross! The first thing they gave me was some white stuff, I think I heard Emily call it my cereal, but it's not the Mini-Wheats and Cinnamon Toast Crunch that they get when they ask for cereal! I heard Mom tell someone that every bite just drooled out of my mouth at first, so much so that she thought about just putting the flakes of cereal in my mouth and hoping it would mix up with my drool and go down easier.
About the time that I figured the white stuff out, they started giving me some green stuff that tastes even worse! The first time Dad fed it to me, he told Mom to get the camera so she could get the funny face I made, but I fooled them both, I didn't make a funny face! I acted like it tasted just fine! Since then though, I haven't been able to contain my face and I often grimace when I get a bite.
I really wish they would just let me feed myself. They are way too slow and are always getting distracted taking care of Cole and Emily.
In fact, one day Mom was feeding me my breakfast when Cole's ride for preschool got to our house. She set the bowl down to help him get out the door (he's always forgetting his backpack, shoes, or something), and much to my delight, she put the bowl just close enough that with a little manuvering, I managed to grab it. This is what she came back to. (PS, my bumbo chair is not on the table, that's just an illusion! On the table would be a safety hazard!)
See, I can feed myself!
