New Baby

As you can see from our countdown ticker in the upper right corner, there is going to be a new Gwilliam joining our family. Would you like to know the sex of the baby? SO WOULD WE!!!! The baby was hunched over, legs crossed, holding a hand or foot right there. The technician made a very hesitant guess. Our family is not so happy with this baby right now!

Easter Morning

This is a little late, but the pictures are cute so they are being posted!

Easter morning was quite exciting. Since Easter was right on the trail of St. Patrick's Day and Cole LOVED when there was a leprechaun treasure hunt, he was anxiously awaiting the Easter Bunny's egg hunt. He woke up and started looking around. He didn't see any eggs right off so he asked his mom where the Bunny hid the eggs. The Bunny had just left eggs in Cole's basket, so Mommy had to call the Easter Bunny out of bed to come back and hide eggs fast!!!! Cole found his eggs and then he was able to enjoy his Easter basket.

Emily was a different story. She woke up and was quite thrilled with what she found in her basket! As Cole was searching for eggs, Dad tried to get Emily excited to look for eggs also. Emily found a bag of candy and sat down to eat that instead of hunting for eggs!!!! She did hunt for eggs later when she figured out that there was candy in the eggs!

Emily liked her new Easter outfit...

Dyeing Easter Eggs

Dyeing Easter eggs is every parent's favorite activity.
Unless it involves: eggs that crack, dyes that stain, liquids that spill, and children that are so excited they can't sit still.....
Oh-that is right, Dyeing eggs is every parent's nightmare!!

Cole and Emily were very excited to dye eggs.

Emily was so excited she made her own special color with about 3 tablets in the same cup.

Cole was disappointed to find out that the new color was ORANGE, not BLUE!!!

Cole thought every egg should be blue.

Only about 9 out of 12 eggs were cracked after being dropped.

But the stickers and wraps were great fun to put on...until the wraps had to be heated with the blow dryer. Then Cole ran away scared!!

The finished products!

Super Kids

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's....Super Cole! Or at least Super Spiderman with his trusty sidekicks. You have Batman (or Batgirl) and Robin (who is just a kid)! When Grandma found this pattern years and years ago, it was a real winner. These capes have been made many times over and always well loved.

Cole discovered that no matter how many times they jumped off the couch, they could not fly.

At least Cole stayed at home when trying to fly, unlike Uncle Rob who tried to fly over the entire neighborhood!!
